The project focuses on the development and design of the new tram model that will operate on the recently inaugurated Glories-Verdaguer section. This new version maintains the same carriage configuration as the current models, but incorporates substantial improvements in terms of load capacity and accessibility. Thanks to its greater transport capacity, the new tram optimizes the efficiency of the service, allowing a greater flow of passengers without compromising comfort.

One of the most notable advances is the incorporation of larger access doors, which facilitates boarding and disembarking, contributing to a more agile and efficient user experience.

Inside, the distribution of seats has been reformulated adopting a metro-type layout (face to face), which maximizes the available space and allows for greater transport capacity without sacrificing comfort.

This design not only improves circulation within the convoy, but also favors better interaction between passengers, creating a more comfortable and functional environment. Additionally, specific spaces have been reserved for users with reduced mobility, ensuring that the tram is accessible to all passengers. This upgrade not only responds to current public transport needs, but also sets new standards of efficiency and comfort in the urban tram network.

The environmental renderings show the perfect integration of the new tram into the newly opened route, emphasizing its urban design and its functionality and adaptability.

The interior of the new tram has been designed to meet demand, with a greater passenger capacity, optimising the route. In addition, the new seating arrangement and the increase in railings make occupants more comfortable. This is in addition to the exclusive area reserved for people with reduced mobility or other needs. This new layout also makes the aisle wider, so there is more space between passengers. All this is added to the large doors that have been increased by a few centimetres, making entry and exit more dynamic and easier.
